Licence validation service

WHODrug licence validation is a mandatory procedure that confirms the WHODrug licence status of an intended collaborating partner.

An organisation is not allowed to provide a partner organisation with WHODrug data or parts thereof before UMC has confirmed the existence of a valid licence. WHODrug users are invited to use UMC’s web-based licence validation service for instant validation of the WHODrug licences of collaborating partners.

Key functionalities

  • Allows validation of both a single licence and multiple licences in a batch.
  • Provides an instant response to licence validation submissions.
  • Allows export of individual licence validation reports in a pdf format.
  • Allows users to search and review all licence validations submitted by everyone within the same organisation.

The WHODrug licence validation service requires the UMC licence number to validate the WHODrug licence of collaborating partners. Your own organisation UMC licence number is available in the WHODrug licence validation service, in your personal account details available at the UMC website User area drop-down menu and on your WHODrug invoice.
